Sex Education paperwork needs to be completed.
STAAR is over. We are moving into a unit of expansion. I will be working with students on expanding their knowlege of space science, an area almost all students are interested in; however, students must first complete the sex education course.
Sex education is designed around knowledge of the human body and the consequences of this lack of knowledge. As parents, we know and understand poor judgement. Our goal, in this course, is to make students aware of impulsive decisions and how making suck decisions could lead to life-long decisions.
Following this course, we will move into finals week and space science (again). My goal is to expand knowlege in this area and inspire other areas of science to promote a compehensive understanding of science.

8th Grade Main Event Field Trip

If your child has not completed the Main Event field trip for and turned in the packet, please do so immediately. We need to turn in this money to main event soon. The event will happen on the last day of school.

Change in grading policy effective 3rd Six Weeks forward til end of year

Students will no longer be able to make up a test grade that was not passed the first time for higher than a 70%. This is per new Round Rock District Policies. Students are no longer able to score higher than a 70% on a retest.

Additionally, late assignments for homework will recieve a MAXIMUM grade of a 70%.

Tutoring (Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:00 to 7:45 am)

I provide tutoring in my classroom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15 am to 7:45 am. If you (or your child) is in need of tutoring, please email me prior to showing up. I am only in my classroom at these time if I have an appointment set up prior to arrival.

I also do tutoring at other times (depending on my schedule), but these are my set times.
